If you are looking to get into the burgeoning image hosting industry, it is hard to do much better then ImageHosting.biz. Take special note that lower extensions such as .tv, .org.uk, and .ws are taken. "Image Hosting" has 15,000 Overture search results and over 400,000 Google results. Thus, this one might not last long.

Although still a young extension, .infos can be good money makers if they are attached to the right domain. For example, I recently sold one in the $$$ range that was bought via manual registration. RentalRates.info and RentalRate.info could both have nice resell value to the right buyer.

After picking up DomainList.org today, I noticed that the plural version of "Drop List" was not near as popular as the singular version. With all the demand for expired and deleted domain lists, this is surprising. That said you have your choice of DomainLists.net, DomainLists.org, DomainLists.info, and DomainLists.biz. Of those extensions, only .biz has been taken in the past.

With graphics ratings sites like HotOrNot.com all the rage these days, Hotter.org is one domain that will probably not continue to be available long. The one-worder can fit the .org extension as a graphics rating site and "hotter" has over 930,000 Google search results. Obviously, most other extensions are taken as well. 

4-27-2004 (Only WeblogHost.net Is Now Taken)
For those of you who missed the blog hosting domain mania, you now have one last chance with WeblogHost.net, WeblogHost.info, WeblogHost.biz, WeblogHost.us, and WeblogHost.ws. All of those extensions are taken in "bloghosting", "bloghost", and "webloghosting".

Although .biz is not the optimal extension, AffordableHost.biz is available. "AffordableHost" is taken in all other extensions including .us. Although not as used as "cheap" with hosting, affordable actually sounds better because cheap could also mean poor quality. Also note that the .info of AffordableHost is set to drop on 4-25-2004.

With BlogHost.net being caught in a few days, domainers should be interested to know that both BlogHost.ws and BlogHost.us are currently available. Neither of these extensions are available for "BlogHosting" or "WeblogHosting". In addition, "BlogHost" has the advantage of being significantly shorter than both those names.

Are you a web developer working on a very small budget? If so, CheapDeveloper.com may be the perfect name for you. This domain along with the plural version have been taken in the past. In fact, DirtCheapDeveloper.com and .net are currently taken.

Staying with the recent blog theme for a little longer, TheBlogHost.com is currently available. Just the the regular "BlogHost" is taken in nearly major extensions. Usually not a fan of "the" domains but this one could work.

PhotoBlogs.ws is your chance to own one of the top types of blogs, photoblogs. According to photoblogs.org, "a photoblog is a type of blog that is regularly updated with photos. Some photoblogs focus only on photography, while others have photos in addition to other content. All photoblogs, however, consider photos to be an important part of their chronological blogging structure." There are 154,000 Google results for photoblogs and 2833 Overture results for photoblog(s). Keep in mind that blogs.ws, weblogs.ws, and moblogs.ws are all gone.

PhotoBloggers.net and PhotoBlogging.net are two solid .nets for one of the most popular types of blogging, photoblogging. For photobloggers, the .com and .org are taken. For PhotoBlogging, the .com, .org, and .info are taken.

MMORPGList.com could be used to list all the different MMORPGs out there for gamers. This happens to be a major feature of some game sites. For those unfamiliar with the term, it stands for massively multiplayer online role-playing games. Sony's EverQuest is probably the best known MMORPG.

Looking for an appetizing domain? Then Cheeseburger.ws should fit the bill. Not surprisingly there are over 300,000 Google results for cheeseburger. Take note that hamburger.ws is taken already.

MakeupTips.info is perfect for a site offering cosmetic tips. Of course, all the various cosmetic products could be advertised on a site like that. The .info extension fits well here since it will be an info-intensive site. Also keep in mind that CosmeticTips.info is not available. In fact, only the .com and .info are taken for "Cosmetic Tips".

Ever played fantasy sports? There fantasy sports leagues where you assemble a team based on real life athletes. FantasyGamer.org would work well for a fantasy league.

Looking for a good one word .info? How about Redefined.info? This dictionary term has a strong technology/futuristic connotation to it. Furthermore, "Redefined" is taken in all other major international domains and has over 665,000 search results on Google. Finally, over a hundred domains use redefined in one form or another.

BargainWebmasters.com would work well for a website that focused on such things as cheap domain names, cheap hosting, cheap scripts, and even cheap advertising. Take note that a similar domain, BudgetWebmasters.com, is developed.

Since rankings are not as popular as reviews in the hosting industry, good ranking names like HostRanking.net and HostRanking.org are still available. The .com is owned by one of the big boys in the domain industry, Name Administration.

With Google Adsense becoming more picky about content for their ads, review sites will likely get more money per click than most other type of sites. With that in mind, TheBlogReview.com is currently available. TheWeblogReview.com is an established review site that actually charges $5 for some reviews. Since "blog" is usually preferred over "weblog", this is not a bad pickup.

Did you want BodySlam.com, but missed it? You can still buy the second best extension of that name because BodySlam.org is available. Yes, I like .org over .net. Take note that besides the .com, the .net and .info are gone for BodySlam.

Jugs.ws is a 4 letter domain name that can actually be used for the adult industry, even though it is a rather old fashioned term. Needless to say, you would be hard pressed to find four letters that actually mean something in a better extension, much less an adult term.

MP3HardDrive.com is not a bad one to pick up for a general MP3 site. The biggest positive about this name besides its possible use is that fact that "MP3 Hard Drive" gets 252 results on Overture.

Would you like to have a domain for a site that watches new game and movie releases? Then consider ReleaseWatch.org. Be forewarned, however, the PR Newswire owns every other extension.

Due to the rising popularity of video game rentals by mail and the effectiveness of GameFly.com's affiliate program, RentGames.us is fair name for development.

Well, BlogHosting.ws did not stay available long! Now the closest thing to a blog hosting name still available is WeblogHosting.ws. Like  BlogHosting was yesterday, WeblogHosting is taken in everything except.ws. After WeblogHosting.ws, you are pretty much stick in hyphen land. Furthermore, it will have to be a .net or lower because both Blog-Hosting.com and Weblog-Hosting.com are registered.

Since bloghosting.com is the center of attention today, what other extensions of BlogHosting are not taken? If you have to have a "BlogHosting" domain, your only chance is to grab BlogHosting.ws before somebody else does. Take note that most premium hosting names are long gone in .ws. For those interested, GoDaddy is probably your best bet when buying .ws domains.

Are you an online gamer? If you are, you should be interested to know that Multiplayer.ws is currently available. The term is used extensively as the over 4.5 million Google results can attest. The present and future of gaming is multiplayer, whether on the PC or a console. Since I run I fairly large online game site, I can attest to this fact first hand. Of course the extension is not great, but good luck trying to find anything better for multiplayer as a manual registration. 

3-27-2004 (Still Available)
In the same vein as DeveloperMall.com, DeveloperMart.com is also available to be registered. Personally, I prefer "Mart" over "Mall" because it just sounds better. In fact, I own the webmaster version of this name, WebmasterMart.com.

With the Internet becoming more and more volatile each day, parental control software and services have emerged quickly. Of course, the most popular word associated with parental control is nanny. That said, iNanny.net and iNanny.org are good possibilities to start something in this area. At one time, iNanny was taken in all extensions but now it is only taken in the .com and .info.

Although not the best extension, Xrated.ws sports a premium keyword for the adult industry. In fact, this domain could stand for Xrated Website and really stand out from other adult sites if the domain is used that way.

Anybody interested in selling developer tools should take a look at registering DeveloperMall.com. Both DeveloperShop.com and DevelopStore.com are currently registered. The "mall" is flexible for retail oriented sites so you could offered pretty much anything developer-related for sale.

PayViaCash.com would work great for a site similar to PayPal or StormPay. Both PayByCashCash.com and PayWithCash.com are developed sites. PayByCash.com works with mainly pay-to-play games so gamers have a payment option besides a credit card.

If you are interested in 3 character domains that actually make sense, 4HM.info stands out as one of the best still available. The 4HM stands for the four horsemen. The four horsemen has been used in everything from football to pro wrestling to even an upcoming PC game.

GameLab.org would be a great name for a site for either mod makers or expiring game developers. At only seven characters long, this domain would be great for displaying when showing off projects.

WebmastersJournal.com would be perfect for a blog about daily webmaster activities and call it The Webmaster's Journal. Also keep in mind that WebmasterJournal.com is currently in redemption period, so it will be available soon as well if it is not caught by a drop catcher.

Blogmasters will never be as widespread of webmasters, of course, but it is still a very interesting niche to be aware of.

"Free Gift Card" gets 137,000 Google results and 10 sponsored links. Although it has "free" in the title, there are some definite commercial possibilities with this domain name.

For anybody unable to go after HostingShop.com when it drops in a couple of days, Hosting-Shop.com is available to be registered. This name was once taken and the .net version still is. May or not have resell value, but it would be a good name to develop despite the hyphen.

Based solely on Google results, "Developer Apps" is the better name with over 17,000 results compared to only 1,540 for "Webmaster Apps". However, the latter had substantially more ads for its search.

Although its not the best looking or shortest name in the world, WebLogsCentral.com can be registered. According to Whois.sc, this domain was once taken in the big three (.com, .net, and .org). Take note, however, that this domain is better suited for development as a directory to take advantage of the blog craze than for reselling.

"Console Game" has 181,000 results on Google and is definitely one of the top word combos in gaming since the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube are all consoles.

Anybody who has watched pro wrestling over the last few years has probably heard the slang term mamacitas by a character known as Latino Heat.
